Nicole has always been my go-to pediatric expert. When I came to TSON, she was the one to mentor me with kindness and patience. She maintains that kindness and patience with her students, peds patients, and their families. I admire Nicole for studying and taking the Certified Clinical Nurse Educator Exam and passing on the first attempt. As an adjunct professor, this scholarly endeavor is indicative of her commitment to nursing education and providing students with an excellent clinical education. Her motive was purely to achieve “excellence” in education. I have been able to observe and participate with Nicole during Pediatric workshop and simulation, as she provides a safe supportive pediatric experience for her students.

When it comes to thinking about the extraordinary, I think of Nicole Kelly. She is an enthusiastic clinical instructor who is devoted to her students. She seems to put the role of teaching first despite life’s personal commitment and challenges. She is a great clinical instructor and has wonderful listening skills. She is complimented by her students for her clinical knowledge and compassion and will always give her students the respect that they deserve. Nicole Kelly is also an excellent colleague who will offer resources when peers need help with clinical issues. She is very kind, knowledgeable, and willing to give her time to explain any questions regarding pediatric clinical practices.
