Sadie was an amazing nurse. She was very detailed in explaining what I could and not do! She was very patient with me, so compassionate towards me. She helped with my pain and helped stay on top of my pain. When I pushed the nurse button, she was always on the spot with a smile. She is a big asset to North Central Surgical Center.

I had an “emergency” discectomy; it was evaluated by the surgeon on Thursday, and I was operated on the next day. Well, the pain relief was instantaneous post-op. I was very thankful for this, but I quickly learned that to heal properly, I needed to be very careful with my movements. I am a very self-sufficient guy, but I felt helpless. It’s with this background that I met Sadie. She is just a walking ray of sunshine on a dark cloud day. Her smile, manners, and conversations lifted my spirits each time she entered the room. I know these nurses are busy and, at times, stressed, but not once during my time there did she change her pleasant, upbeat, happy demeanor. I cannot think of all the positive attributes to describe her. You feel that she sincerely cares about you, and you’re the only person she cares for. She was very responsive to my needs, but her attitude and demeanor set her apart. As a former hiring manager, these personalities and characteristics are there or they are not. Not sure what else to say. You are lucky to have her on your staff. I was even luckier to have her caring for me.

I had a full hip replacement, and I’m doing so well. I can’t say enough compliments about Sadie. I’m 74, and this is my first surgery. I don’t believe in coincidences, so I believe God placed Sadie for my care. She was always smiling, so happy, and had a beautiful smile. She encouraged me and made time for my concerns. She was very knowledgeable about all my concerns.
