My water broke while at Walmart, only 32 weeks pregnant. I was rushed by ambulance to Community Anderson where my OB was already on call. I wasn’t expecting such an exciting day so I was nowhere prepared. Darby was my nurse once I was admitted and took the best care of me. She helped me clean myself up and even washed my hair for me just minutes before she and my doctor had to rush me into an emergency C-Section. Darby was my nurse for the next two days and was nothing short of amazing, encouraging me every step of the way and helping me gain enough strength to go meet my son at Community North. Even though my circumstances were nothing desirable, the whole team made my experience as good as could be expected. I will forever be thankful for the quick thinking and caring abilities that were able to save myself and my beautiful baby boy.
