I received your follow-up card in the mail, and it warmed my heart, and I better understood the care that both my mother and I received while there at the hospital. I just want to start off by saying how the staff on duty each day and night did an outstanding job. From the time we arrived, we were greeted by Tammy (CNA). She provided everything that was needed for my mom and me to get settled for the night.

I would like to identify a few of the ladies and men who made an impression on me. Tammy, Emma, Jhamone. 5-Star treatment! Tammy started it off by supplying me with everything I needed, and she stated that the CNAs would be able to supply me with items when I ran out. Emma taught me how to correctly care for my mom. From changing the linen to the liners. I told her I would make her job and others easier because I wasn't leaving my mom's bedside. Emma taught me how to make a temporary commode because there wasn't a bottom.  Jessica (ED) has a heart and personality that are bigger than Jacksonville. She gave me what the world needs before leaving, and that was a big hug.

Jhamone reminds me of myself, a very beautiful soul and social butterfly who appears in the room to brighten it up with her caring spirit and big smile. The Baby CNA, I wanted to bring her home to be my daughter because I have all boys. She was so caring, and she reminded me of the nieces in my family and how they care for my mom and their grandmother when we all get together for all occasions. Kevin (Flex): oh my. Goodness. My mom had come back from a test, and she was wet, and he insisted on helping me and began to sing a song. I forgot the song, but the melody calmed me down.

Anne is a 6'9 demand and command Charge nurse...in a good way. Her statue and demeanor were very impressive and speak volumes. Ms. Janet is the hardest-working nurse at the hospital. Every day, I looked up, and there was Ms. Janet taking care of me. Ms. Janet is a die-hard employee. Hats off to the "Environmental Service" worker. Every day, and I do mean every day, she came into the room; she was so kind, caring, prayerful, and encouraging. My son relieved me one day, and he stated that the cleaning lady was so encouraging. She never came into the room in a hurry, on her telephone, and she even asked if there was anything she could get for me or Mom.  Candace, everyone did their job very professionally and in a caring and empathetic manner. You offered to give my mom warm blankets. Thank you for reaching out.
