I have seen Mr. Rincon talk to patients when they are stressed or anxious. He has tried to calm them down and explain their medication.
Mr. Rincon has been working in Mental Health for over 20 years. He started as a Psychiatric Nursing Assistant, became a Nursing Shift Leader, and later took the next step to becoming an LVN. Throughout his time at EPPC, Manny has gained notoriety for his patient care style and unique handling of some of the more difficult cases in our field. His sense of humor and wit are a staple of his patient care, leadership, and teaching roles in our facility. One of the most caring, big-hearted, and kind individuals one will ever meet.

There are so many stories I can say about how Mr. Rincon has helped the staff in every unit. He's always helping with patients. He always helps us when we have codes, and he also tries to de-escalate the situation first. He understands how exhausting it can get at times since he worked as a PNA and NSL first. He is caring yet stern when he has to be. Plus, it seems he is always working and never complains about it. I'm nominating him so he knows how much he is appreciated.

He is a great nurse because he is funny, and I like to bother him. I have known him for a long time. He is easy to get along with. We had good times and bad times. He can always talk to me and make me feel better. He makes me take my meds.
