From the moment we arrived to my Mom’s “Recovery Room” this morning to when we left, just after 3:30pm, Katie took such good care of us! Indeed, each member of the Staff we encountered today was exemplary and made us feel welcomed and cared for upon arrival right through the departure. What made Katie extra exemplary was her deep caring. She was so “real” in everything she said and did. She didn’t try to be perfect, although perfection was what she achieved through her being totally “present” with my Mom. She hustled when she needed to, she communicated in a timely fashion, she cared about making sure my Mom understood, she “read the room” in terms of how to interact with my Mom with her good humor, and all the while, was brilliant with the critical technical skills of her job. Last but not least, she complimented her colleagues and gave credit to others. It was a joy to have her in the room. We felt like we were in such capable hands and had no worries that we were receiving excellent care. Thank you, Katie!
