Sidney was here the night we arrived in the middle of the night from the ICU unit. Right away we felt the peace and welcoming in with so much joy and love. My son connected right away with her. Sidney went beyond to make sure he was good and comfortable. My son was in so much pain and fear, and she would just bring that comfort in the room. It seemed that we knew her for a lifetime, the way we would just laugh, talk, and get my son his needs. I pray she continues in her gift of comfort and healing as she blossoms in others' lives. As she has become a forever DAISY in ours! Proverbs 31:31 – Thank you Lord for Sidney’s hands of comfort.

Sidney was truly a ray of sunshine in our moment of darkness. She was so sweet, compassionate, and caring. As many times as we pressed the call light, no matter the time of day – she showed up! Sidney and other nurses surprised my daughter with a stuffed animal and balloon that made all of our hearts smile. She also made my daughter a card, and she and the other nurses left beautiful messages for her. One night, while in the hospital, Sidney got to work and surprised our daughter with another stuffed animal and two more beautiful balloons. She thought she was going to work with us again, but we ended up with another nurse. Sidney still came and checked on us and gave me, my husband, and my daughter a nice hug. Sidney, we will never forget you! Thank you! I’ll never forget both of the comforting hugs you gave me (mom), the amazing care you gave our daughter, and how you went above and beyond to make her smile!
