I’m a 70-year-old lady who went to NCI for a Copper Infusion. I have been having blackout spells. In total, I have had 54 surgeries off and on since I was 28 years old. I was taken to the Audubon ER by NCI employees. They did not know what was wrong with me. I was lethargic and confused. They gave me Narcan because they thought my pain pump might have been the culprit. I was then admitted.

Andrew kept checking on me until he left for the night. He was my nurse again in the morning. The first thing he did was come in and check on me and make sure I was all right. He was very caring and concerned for me and kept an eye on me. He kept talking to the doctor about my weak heart rate. I felt like I was riding a roller coaster. He explained things to me and reassured me that I would receive great care from the doctors. When he left me for the weekend, he gave me a hug and told me I would be home before his next shift, which I was. He was very well-mannered and concerned about my condition.
