My son was a patient over the weekend. He was transferred from another facility to Lincolnton because he had DKA, however, he also had emotional issues. Nurse Greene had to deal with an emotional mom and sister, a very upset patient, and a very stoic father (me). We all wanted to determine if my son would be required to have a psychological evaluation, on the weekend. Nurse Greene did everything in her power to meet everyone's needs and concerns, and due to her persistence, my son got the evaluation he needed on the weekend. He was not pleased with the determination that he needed inpatient psych care, but thanks to Nurse Greene, everyone kept a level head. I want to thank Nurse Greene and all the staff on the 3rd floor of Atrium Health Lincoln for taking such great care of my son.
