We were in the PICU for a month with our daughter. We met Jennifer one week in. From the day we met her, our experience in the PICU changed forever. She was always positive and happy. She talked to our daughter, advocated for her in ways we didn't know how, and always had a smile on her face.

Jennifer always had our daughter dressed and bathed in a bow on her. When we arrived most mornings, she would be in her swing, dressed, smiling with a bow on, and watching her favorite movie. Our days were brighter when she was our nurse. During our time there, Jennifer touched our whole family's heart. She means more to us than we can ever express. To her, it is just doing her job, but for us, she made the last few weeks of my daughter's life the most comfortable and happy possible. Jennifer even made sure she was there with us the day we took our daughter off life support. That is something I will be forever thankful for. Jennifer made us feel that our daughter was loved, safe, and happy, and she had everything she needed during her time there. We are forever thankful for her giving us the best experience out of the worst situation.
