This letter is to thank and recognize nurse Aly Fish for her exceptional dedication and care during a profoundly challenging time for our family. Our son experienced a serious spinal cord injury at the age of 17 and was admitted to the Intensive Care Unit, where Amy provided exceptional support during the overnight shifts.

From the moment we met Aly, her compassion and professionalism shone through. She consistently went above and beyond her duties, not only in administering medical care but also in providing emotional support to both our son and our family.

Aly continuously showed kindness. She took time to listen to our son and really relate to him and his situation. Working overnights left her to be with him when he was vulnerable and feeling alone and scared. She helped him feel safe and secure in these moments. He actually started to look forward to overnight so he could see her. Aly went out of her way to make not only our son feel important but also us. Her empathy extended beyond the medical realm, creating a comforting environment where we all felt understood and cared for.
