Daisy van Opstal has been very proactive in educating all staff and accommodating shifts. I mentioned that an educational opportunity was discovered in the ER previously. Daisy had a poster made and was educating the staff right thereafter! Daisy will do anything needed to keep the staff and the patients safe. She is a force to reckon with when it comes to making sure the patients are safe. 

Since she took the position in Education, she has bloomed and channeled her abundant energy into Education. Taking on the General Nursing Orientation, Basic Arrhythmia, and RQI is a giant task for anyone. Daisy does not fail to rise above and manages to do more and do one-on-one teaching when needed. She is happy to demonstrate any technique that needs to be learned to keep our patients safe in any department at any time and on a minute’s notice, always with a smile.
