She is a true asset to your team. She always has a smile on, is very compassionate, and really cares about how her patients feel.
I came in on a direct admit and couldn't have anything to eat or drink. On day two, I was starving, and Sue came in and made me laugh as she saw I was struggling. She would always come in and say I got your dinner for you and tell me it was a different meal every day, so I kept telling myself it was steak and potatoes or a BLT, and then we would laugh. She brought me mouth sponges for my mouth because it was so dry. She kept bringing me ice bags for my arm where the PICC line was because it itched constantly.
When they put an 82 y/o patient with me, and she started complaining about me having my TV on and my IV pump beeping, and she was throwing up, and I was trying not to, Sue went to the powers that be and got me switched to another room without me even asking. I am forever in her debt for that.
I had to take Imodium, and she would come in and say bottoms up as I took my 2 shots of liquid Imodium, she would take a pill cup and do a shot of water with me. I never laughed so hard. She is a true asset to your team. She always has a smile on, is very compassionate, and really cares about how her patients feel. She would come in and sit with me if I was feeling blue and cheer me up. She is an exceptional RN.
