Hope Hall was finished with her shift and on her way to the elevator to clock out when a patient (going to their unit) was being brought by transport. She immediately noticed something was wrong with this patient by a simple glance. She sprang into action and began assessing the patient and asking transport where this patient was from and going. At this point, the staff was unable to feel a pulse, and CPR was started. She and the surrounding team rushed this patient to their room and pushed the code button. Had she not trusted her gut instinct, who knows what could have happened? I am so thankful for this nurse’s willingness to help anyone in need – she truly saved a life that day. Working alongside nurses who live out the AdventHealth Mission is a pleasure.
