Beth's clear communication and practical decision-making helped us manage our stress during a scary and exhausting experience.
My wife gave birth to twin babies, J and L, at the Masonic Children's Hospital. They were born early and needed care in the NICU. We were transferred to Ridges NICU because Ridges had room, and we felt so lucky to have received care from the whole Ridges NICU team.
The facility became our home away from home, and thanks to the Ridges staff, we really felt at home. We built relationships with the nurses and felt especially close to Beth, not only because we spent the most time with Beth, but also because she genuinely cared about our family. Beth's expertise reassured us, and we trusted her judgment. She is so good at her job, that she makes it look easy. She's so experienced that she had the capacity to go beyond her scope of work and educate us and comfort us.
Beth's clear communication and practical decision-making helped us manage our stress during a scary and exhausting experience. Beth seems like the kind of person that makes everyone's life easier. I would love to be Beth's co-worker, I'm glad to feel like her friend. I'm sure that if I bumped into any of The Ridges NICU employees outside of the hospital, I would feel a sense of familiarity that would make me smile and want to give them a hug. Thank you so much for being there when we needed you.
