Shea Boyd and I were working in Dr. Downing's clinic. A patient arrived for her appointment at a nursing facility, She was alone with no one from the facility or family member with her. The patient stated she had awakened just before she had to leave for her appointment. The patient arrived in a gown with a blanket. The patient stated she did not get breakfast. Shea was always very kind and compassionate. She was concerned about the patient being hungry and possibly missing her lunch. Shea called the cafeteria here at CNRV and the staff brought some toast, cereal, and juice. The patient was able to eat before she left. Shea took excellent care of this patient as she does all patients every day. She is furthering her education working hard with her studies and caring for patients.
