My experience with Marian reminded me of the goodness in humanity. My son has been struggling with MH for months and was in several facilities before arriving at Philhaven. From the moment our son was admitted, Marian was there to help guide us through the process. Her devotion to her job and her commitment to providing the best care possible was so obvious from Day 1. She made my family and me feel like we were the only people she was helping… even though I know that was not even close to being true. She answered my questions with such genuine care and patience. Marian was invested in our family and the success of our son. She helped us plan the future and seemed to anticipate my questions about next steps for my son and our family. Her compassion was palpable. Her forethought was extraordinary. Her communication was outstanding. Marian honestly restored my faith in the health system. It was life-changing to have someone like Marian in my corner when my son was going through such a devastating struggle with his young life. I will be forever grateful for Marian. She was an answer to prayer at such a difficult time in our lives. Marian deserves to be recognized for a job well done.
