I met Kendall when I was admitted to Southside Regional Hospital after having a mastectomy removal of my left breast. Kendall was not only an expert and knowledgeable in her field of work but was also caring and compassionate. She didn't make me feel uneasy at all during the time they cared for me. I genuinely felt like she cared as my nurse and wasn't just doing a job for a paycheck. An awesome nurse, in my book, knows and has the expertise to perform their job as well as one who genuinely cares and has compassion for who they are caring for. In my opinion, that is awesome. Kendall took the time to explain things to me and was willing to answer any questions that I had without feeling rushed. She made sure I was comfortable and saw to me having everything I needed. She assisted me in using the restroom and back in bed, ensuring that I was safe and did not fall. Ensured that I had enough blankets, pillows, etc. Kendall is the definition of an awesome nurse. I really appreciate you. You are the best!
