Jasmine is an angel sent to us from Heaven to help care for our daughter K, who has very complex medical needs as a former NICU baby with Truncus Arteriosus who has had three open heart surgeries and was hospitalized for 16 months prior to discharge home. Jasmine started working with us after another nurse abruptly left. She has since become a part of our family. She makes sure that all of K's medical needs are met both at home and by accompanying her to school daily. She is constantly forward-thinking about K's upcoming doctor appointments, medication or supplies that need refills, and therapy goals. She tends to all of K's needs for activities of daily living, which has allowed her not only to survive but also to thrive in her home environment. K has made tremendous progress in the past two years, much of which we believe is due to the love and care she receives daily from Jasmine and our family. We are so blessed as a family to have Jasmine in our lives. She is truly one in a million!
