Dear Ms. Ndungu,
I was admitted to IMCU and assigned a room. Being in an unexpected and very vulnerable state, I was totally at the mercy of the employees in the unit. I must inform you that the level of care I received was beyond “EXCEPTIONAL.” Each person that I encountered was extremely polite and performed their duties with pride and compassion. Ms. Ndungu, you have amassed an awesome team of professional caregivers who are very deliberate in providing superior care.
As I stated, the professionalism and compassion of your entire staff was exceptional. However, there are several individuals that I am compelled to mention for their superb level of care. Those individuals are:
Elia, RN, was extremely thorough and knowledgeable in explaining every process to me. She is a nurse that any patient would be absolutely blessed to have in their care. She also provided me you card for contact.
Mitchell, RN is the kind of guy that one could easily befriend on the first day of meeting him. Please tell him that he will get lots of gifts in his Christmas stocking. (He will get the joke.)
Classee, RN and Kennedy, RN were my “Dream Team.” They exuded great energy and even stopped by my room to say hello, even though they were not assigned to my area.
Jill, RN was also very thorough and knowledgeable. It was a great pleasure to have her as my nurse.
Caryl, RN was my nurse at discharge, and I just cannot echo enough good things about her. She took a seat and thoroughly explained my entire discharge packet to me and answered every question that I had.
Danie, CP, was extremely caring and had a great attitude. Whenever she entered my room to perform her duties, there was always something to chat about.
Yvonne, CP, was also very kind and professional. I really enjoyed talking to her and learning about the people and culture of Germany.
Ms. Ndungu, I may never meet this special group of individuals again, but their faces and superior level of care will forever be etched into my memory.
Please pass this information along to your team and thank them on my behalf for their awesome service. “KUDOS” to you and your entire staff.
