Nurse Trish is the embodiment of what it means to be an amazing nurse. Her abilities extend far beyond her technical skills and knowledge, though those are certainly exceptional. What truly sets her apart is her unique combination of empathy, intuition, and communication.

She knows how to listen. Not just with words but with the emotions behind them. This sensitivity allows her to understand what a patient is truly going through, even when they may not fully express it. She doesn't just hear; she listens, and she responds with compassion and care that makes us feel truly seen and understood. Several times, she would pause and just hold my wife's hand when she was in pain, once even thanking another nurse for doing the same because, at that moment, she could not. 

Her intuition is another aspect that makes her extraordinary. She really empathized with what my wife was struggling with and sought to walk with her through it. She never rushed or forced anything. Trish has a fantastic bedside manner.

We have encountered many medical people over the last five years of our cancer battle, but very few have provided the level and intensity of care and comfort that Trish does automatically.

This ability to provide comprehensive care, combined with her deep empathy and effective communication skills, make her an outstanding nurse. She doesn't just perform her duties, she creates an environment of trust, comfort, and healing that profoundly impacts those in her care, as well as the other nurses.
