My grandmother came in and unexpectedly began to pass. We were in shock as my aunt’s husband also died last week, so this has been a particularly hard week for us. From the beginning, Michael Profitt has been kind and understanding, listening to her and really expressing empathy for our situation. Before I could get here, she spoke so highly of how he was treating both my aunt and my grandma, and I know he was a great comfort to my aunt during a really hard time. She transitioned to hospice while here, and he was so helpful in explaining what was going on. Throughout his time with us, he always spoke to my grandmother, telling her what he was doing even though she was not responsive.

Everything he has done has been with the utmost respect and empathy, from chatting with us about daily life to learning more about my grandmother and consistently asking every time he is about to leave if there is anything at all he can do for us. We have been to many hospitals and had many nurses and doctors, but Michael has truly made a difference we will never forget.
