Our baby was hospitalized in the NICU for five days due to coming early at 35 weeks. Amanda Crayton was our nurse for two of the five days and went above and beyond to provide excellent care for our baby, my husband, and me. When we were not discharged when we were expecting, Amanda listened intently as I processed what was happening, and she showed great kindness to our family. She truly has a heart of compassion, and we felt heard and seen by her. She also did everything in her power to make sure we were ready to go home safely when the time arrived. She is a gifted educator and teacher, and her discharge education was easy to understand. She answered all my questions thoroughly and with excellence. Thank you for being incredibly compassionate; we will never forget you.
