Ariel goes above and beyond for her patients to ensure that their healthcare needs are met 100%. Not one patient is more or less important to her than the next. The compassion she has for each patient is unmatched.
I truly don't even know where to begin when it comes to sharing just how special Ariel is. As Ariel's nurse, I get the privilege of working alongside her each day. When I say privilege, I truly mean it. I've been a nurse for 12 years and have never encountered a provider with more passion. Ariel goes above and beyond for her patients to ensure that their healthcare needs are met 100%. Not one patient is more or less important to her than the next. The compassion she has for each patient is unmatched. Her patients love and respect her and she shares those feelings for each one of them and it is evident in every action she takes. Whether they are laughing together, crying together, or even praying together- every visit with Ariel is a good one.

I am especially grateful for the gratitude and respect that she shows me as her co-worker and partner. I never have to question her intentions or sincerity. I love the job that I do and the patients that I care for, and Ariel is a huge part of the reason why. There's no one example I could give as to why Ariel deserves this award - anyone who observes her on a day-to-day basis can see that she deserves this for every action she takes at work. I'm a better nurse and person for knowing her and having her in my life.

I get to see Ariel from a patient's perspective, and she has been my primary care provider for about the 2.5 years that I've been working with her. She's made me feel so comfortable since day one and is extremely thorough with the care that she provides me. I am incredibly thankful for the help she has given me over the last several months with managing my mental health. I've seen some dark days and with her help am starting to see the light at the end of a very grim tunnel. Mental health is not an easy subject and certainly not something that anyone wants to have to discuss. It can be especially difficult sharing information with those you are close with. I've never had to hesitate to share anything with Ariel. Seeing how she interacts with patients each day, I know 100% that I don't have to worry about her being judgmental or not taking my concerns seriously. There is truly no one else I'd trust more with my care or in caring for my family. Greene County General Hospital should take great pride in having such an amazing person on their team. Our patients are truly blessed.
