Have you ever had an angiogram? I had my angiogram yesterday. Pretty nervous until the Versed and Fentanyl were administered. Before that and after the procedure, Mindy was amazing… so calm and patient, always smiling, doing everything possible to keep me calm, answering my questions, and just being present for me and my nervous wife. And I had a lot of questions! Mindy’s composure never wavered. It was clear that she was managing the needs of several patients, too! Look, this is a tough time for healthcare workers everywhere. I’m old and see a lot of doctors. Nurses like Mindy are few and far between. If I knew someone like Mindy would prep me for any future procedure, my life would be far better. Her post-procedure skills made my recovery easier, too. I think Mindy sets a fine example of a caring, compassionate, and knowledgeable nurse. She has a great sense of humor, too!
