Christa is one of our unit's strongest, skilled, and experienced nurses! She is the face of leadership for Family Beginnings. Not only is she a phenomenal nurse to her patients, but she also serves as a leader and mentor for her peers, students, and future nurses of Prisma Health. Christa is known for taking on many roles in the unit because she is a true representation of the pillars of Prisma Health! She often serves in the charge nurse role, where she assumes responsibility for holding everyone and everything together, as well as serving as a resource for management, support, and clinical staff.

Christa is the type of nurse that holds it together at the seams and behind the scenes. She is always on top of her duties and responsibilities. She is often chosen and volunteered to be the voice of the unit. She has been selected on several occasions to speak with administrators and commissioners regarding policies, procedures, safety, and compliance for Family Beginnings. On a day-to-day basis, Christa never fails to demonstrate exemplary service. She always has a positive attitude and outlook and takes on any task with a “Yes” approach. She is the nurse you want to have by your side on a busy day, a bad day, a good day, or just any day! She is such an asset to Prisma Health and this is just a small token to show our gratitude and appreciation for how well she serves in her multiple roles.
