Mikki met me in the pre-op room as I was coming down the hall. She was ready to prepare me for surgery. Mikki consistently displayed a positive attitude and an excellent sense of humor during the whole process, offering comic comments in a caring way. This relaxed environment helped me relax during the procedures that she had to perform. I also had Mikki before my hip replacement, and she displayed the same caring attitude that helped ease the patient's fears. During the recovery process, Mikki displays efficiency in care through her promptness in responding to her patient's needs. Her willingness to help the patient be prepared for discharged is outstanding.
