One instance that particularly stands out is her care for her patients. Despite the patient’s complex condition, Alexis remains calm and compassionate, always making sure her patients feel comfortable and understood. Her ability to connect with her patients on a personal level is truly remarkable. Alexis’s expertise and compassion make her an invaluable asset to our healthcare team. Alexis is by far one of the best nurses that I’ve had while being at Banner. She has helped me in so many ways such as helping me with taking a bird bath (washing my hair), helping stay calm by talking to me, attending my needs whether they’re special or not. Making sure if I needed anything while I was in her care. Alexis has helped me by making sure I’m good. I’m so thankful to Alexis for being my nurse while I was here at Banner University. She is the most unique person I’ve ever met, and I hope she is blessed with the DAISY Award.
Also, Alexis helped clean and wrap my left foot, change my dressings, help me get dressed, change my sheets on the bed, and stand by my side while I walked into the unit to make sure I didn’t fall.
