This nurse went above and beyond today to help me pre-op my patients. He knew I wasn't feeling well and was under a lot of stress personally, so his helping to take on the load was everything. Beyond today, Nikko is always the most polite and caring person to his team members and his patients alike. He is always stepping up to the plate in any situation. I think he is more than deserving of the DAISY Award.

Nurse Nikko single-handedly made my husband and I feel like part of the family. He was kind, honest, sincere, and trustworthy. He laughed with us and even found common ground in our pugs. Nikko made everything 10,000% better within a minute. I was filled with fear and anxiety and suddenly I had no cares. I even found myself laughing while being wheeled back to the procedure room. I can only hope that this gift of safety is given to every terrified patient.
