Elisabeth represents not only me but also our pediatric team as a field of sunflowers in which you immediately become content with so much joy and endless smiles while walking through it. She defines being a nurse and the meaning of caregiver. Her work ethic is not often found. Her compassion, dedication, and efforts to be and to continue to be better are extraordinary. Pediatrics can be challenging in many ways, from crying babies to uncooperative teenagers and their parents. But she makes their needs a priority, she delivers compassion, reassurance and undivided attention while educating them on their needs or worries. Elisabeth is not only wonderful to our patients, but she is also an awesome team player. No matter what task she is working on, she will make sure that all her peers are taken care of.
