Never having had surgery or hospitalization in my life, I didn’t know what to expect after my hysterectomy. Kirsten was professional with her compassionate bedside manner and gentle skills. Most importantly, Kirsten listened to my requests for my care. She heard me and responded appropriately as I advocated for myself. She accommodated every need, even the ones I didn’t know I had yet. Kirsten is a treasure at Christus, and I am so very thankful that she was my care provider during one of the most anxiety and fear-filled days of my life.
