When my cancer journey began, I was frightened at what to expect. Getting daily labs, then beginning chemotherapy combined with periodic blood infusions, was much to absorb. The nurses at OSF Cancer Center in Rockford have always treated me exceptionally. I pray to God daily, thanking him for the care I've received.

Nurse Sister Mary Rose Weighner has always been very kind to me. I enjoy talking to her about Catholicism, the church, and my relationship with Christ. She indulges my monotony with grace and consideration. My heart leaps when she is tasked with caring for me. In times of suffering, her consolation is always compassionate, no matter how brief. For this, I am very grateful. I praise her remarkable character and the gentle expertise she applies to caring for patients like me.
