Jacquelyn is a blistering ray of sunshine at the beach whenever I encounter her. She is always smiling and positive, making it hard for anyone to remain sad or upset. She always has something positive to say. She makes any day better. Even with the hustle and bustle of her base unit, she remains calm.

Amid disruption and what some may consider chaotic situations, Jacquelyn goes above and beyond just the requirements of nursing and healthcare. She advocates for our residents and staff alike. She often jumped to assisting with calm and diffusing some situations by removing both residents and staff from unfavorable situations.

We called Jacquelyn to our classroom to support a student’s gas relief. The student was in pain. She spoke to him in a soft voice and provided intervention. The student was agitated, she offered him support and attended to his needs for personal care, and walked with the student to wash his hands. Thank you, Jacki, for bringing a calming energy to this student who was clearly in pain. I could tell how much he trusts you by his eagerness to follow your directions. Thank you for your quick assessment, intervention, and support in helping him participate for the rest of his school day.
