Kandi was amazing…she was an advocate for us while helping us navigate the unknown while we were awaiting biopsy results for my dad. Upon results and poor prognosis, Kandi helped us navigate through our emotions and follow my dad’s wishes. She treated my father with dignity and respect. She thought of the little things like helping my dad eat some ice cream on his last really good day or getting my daughter coloring supplies to keep her entertained. Kandi guided us through a large chunk of our world changing in such a short time, and we will always look back on this time and remember her. She truly is a great nurse and deserves this recognition.

Kandi stood out above the rest. She listened, she acted upon it, and she showed that extra touch of compassion, and her smile lit up the room!
