Lacey is a true highlight of the 4th floor.  She took care of my son for a few days when he had a serious infection.  She always paid attention to detail and made sure he was comfortable for his dressing changes, and stayed on top of knowing when the doctor was coming so he could get his pain medication to keep him comfortable.  Lacey is a huge asset to the 4th floor and Colquitt Regional Medical Center.

Lacey is an awesome nurse.  She is very giving, loving, and patient.  She goes above and beyond for all our patients and coworkers.  She is always willing to help and come in on her days off if we need the help.  She always has a positive attitude. She always thinks outside of the box to help out patients.  She is the perfect example of being an Extraordinary Nurse.  She has had a lot of medical things come into her life that most people would have let control their lives, not her.  She kept going to school no matter how she felt, and she graduated with her RN. She never complains about how she feels and is always positive and willing to give 200%.  She is exceptional and very deserving of this award.  Our floor and our patients are very lucky to have her as a nurse.  You can’t get any more compassionate than Lacey!  She is an awesome charge nurse as well, heck she’s exceptional at everything.

I have been a patient for 6 days.  Lacey Zeigler is an exceptional nurse.  I was an LPN until I became disabled.  Lacey is smart. Her communication skills are exceptional.   I am on palliative care, and there were many issues to resolve before I could be discharged.  She confidently went about each task.  I am impressed that she leaves no stone unturned.  I trusted her immediately with my care.  The thing that stands out about Lacey is her compassion for her patients.  I know any patient under her care is fortunate to have her.
