He was an exceptional nurse. I have been admitted to MMC and other hospitals several times, and I must say these hospitals are the top tier in terms of service, so I was in awe to discover that nursing care can still elevate to top notch, and that is through this nurse. The moment he greeted me, he was enthusiastic and energetic. He also went beyond transactional servicing by expounding, explaining the medicines he would administer, the importance of following protocols as a patient, and being comfortable while in admission. 

As a sick patient, I really believe that nurses should be like him, he exudes going the extra mile, providing an excellent and trailblazing care that is such a precious characteristic among nurses. This nurse made me feel comfortable and pleasant the entire time. He built such a lasting memory for me that makes me look up to nursing care even more. 

I nominate him for the DAISY Award because I believe that more nurses should be like him- may malasakit, mahal ang trabaho at maalaga.  I even had to request for him from his charge nurse for my second day which is something I did for the first time because this nurse set the bar too high already. With my interaction and experience, I concluded that MMC’s nursing training is the best in the country. And I will never be going to other hospitals after this. Good job, MMC, you found a gem!
