Aniamma is truly such an amazing nurse and person. Aniamma is our senior nurse who goes above and beyond for all her team members. Not only does she work hard to care for her patients at the bedside, but she also continues to teach and precept our new graduates. She is always looking to assist and mentor our new nurses with positivity and enthusiasm.

I want her to have this award for all her years of hard work, kindness, and loyalty to this organization. I personally have been precepted by Aniamma, and I am so honored to have experienced a piece of her knowledge. Aniamma has gone above and beyond for our organization by dedicating her time to the education department due to staff shortages. This exemplifies how dedicated she is to educating others. Aniamma is involved in our critical care collaborative care council, where she is always open to finding greater ideas to support initiatives in our unit.

Today, specifically, Aniamma was teaching in education, and after her shift ended, she went to the ICU unit to check on her team members. Her team members were busy with high-acuity patients. Instead of going home, Aniamma decided to stay and help her team, going above and beyond. We need to show recognition for the ones we love!
