During a particularly challenging period in my life, when my mother was seriously ill, she went far beyond the typical responsibilities of a supervisor. While I was navigating the overwhelming responsibilities of school, work, and family, after my mother passed, she provided me with much-needed emotional support. Her concern for my well-being was evident in her thoughtful check-ins, offering words of encouragement and support at times when the stress seemed unbearable. This emotional backing was invaluable, allowing me to continue performing my duties with confidence and composure, knowing I had a leader who cared about me as a person, not just as an employee.

As I embarked on my journey to pursue the Nurse Practitioner (NP) program, she shared her wealth of knowledge and experience with me, providing direction and insight into the challenges and opportunities of this path and guiding me on how to manage all responsibilities.
