Kris was my nurse for the delivery of my daughter. After the delivery, I wouldn’t stop bleeding, so I had to be taken to the OR. She cared for me in the delivery room, then the OR, and then the PACU before taking me to the postpartum unit. I know she didn’t get to take a break from the time her shift started until I was transferred to postpartum, but she did manage to sneak out of my room prior to my daughter’s delivery to get me a “push present.” 

We were discussing our love for Bubbl'r beverages earlier in the night and I told her the watermelon lime flavor was my favorite. As Kris was taking me up to the postpartum unit, she surprised me with a watermelon lime Bubbl’r. That was so sweet of her! My husband was also in awe of Kris and her workflow. I don’t know how many times I heard him say, “She delivered our baby and then turned around and saved your life!” She was so kind, patient, and knowledgeable. Kris worked so efficiently and never lacked compassion towards me or my husband during it all. Thank you so much to the whole Labor & Delivery team and especially to Kris for being such an amazing nurse!
