During his time on duty, a medical emergency arose in the form of a three-year-old drowned victim. 1LT ZAMORA promptly took charge and was the first to attend to the patient in the emergency room. While waiting for the Medical Officer on Duty (MOD), 1LT ZAMORA assumed the role of team leader. With extensive experience as an emergency management nurse, he supervised the resuscitation process calmly alongside the team. Even after five minutes of resuscitation, the patient still showed no signs of life. However, the team persisted and continued resuscitation until the ninth minute. Hope became evident for the entire team, especially the patient's father, as the patient miraculously came back to life. The MOD made the decision to transfer the patient to the nearest ICU-capable hospital. Unfortunately, they faced challenges when they arrived at Cavite Medical Center, as there were no available ICU beds. 1LT ZAMORA NC then decided to proceed to the next preferred hospital.
