Kristin has only worked in surgical services for a short period of time, but in that short period of time she has had a huge impact on me. Kristin came to us with a lot of nursing experience. She had never worked ASU/PACU before, but she caught on so quickly! Not only ASU/PACU but also PAT and Endoscopy as well. 

Kristin is always willing to float to other units to help, even still picking up in ED to help out as needed. Kristin takes the time to help others and also works behind the scenes to help our unit improve, like looking up policies and procedures and completing unit-based safety projects. Kristin has a great bedside manner and takes the time to get to know each and every patient. She will find ways to calm patients' anxiety on the day of surgery, which patients really appreciate. Her nursing experience in ED and OB makes her a well-rounded nurse and a nurse I strive to be like. Thank you for all of your hard work, Kristin.
