Dr. Steele is such a wonderful motivator and a great teacher! She still checks in with me and I am sure I am not the only one. To check in on previous students to see how they are doing in their careers, that shows nothing but total dedication to what she does. She really wants her students to succeed and have success in every part of life. During my time at Allen College, I’d even go to her office and sometimes I would be there for 30-40 minutes just talking about life in general. She truly cares and wants the best for everyone she encounters. I know I would not be where I am today without the teaching and guidance I received from her. I am so glad to have come across her on my journey and even happier to still be in contact with her to this day. She is one of a kind.

Through all of the classes, I have received an extraordinary nursing education and learned more about the nursing profession than I thought possible. As a 5th semester student, I feel very confident going into the NCLEX and my professional nursing role thanks to her. She pushed me outside of my comfort zone which allowed me to become more independent and confident as a student nurse. She always makes sure to give constructive criticism when appropriate, as well as praise you when you’re doing well. She holds all students accountable for their learning and comprehension and gives you the resources to be successful at Allen College!
