Linzy became certified in SANE nursing early this spring during a class that was hosted at Lake Chelan Health. Since becoming certified, Linzy has taken on many challenges in developing a SANE program at LCH. She has gone above and beyond taking time to research, connect with other programs, network with law enforcement, develop a safe and effective charting system, and ensure that the patient who seek a SANE exam at LCH will remain safe during and after their care. Linzy has written for grants to provide aftercare packages, which include clothing, toiletries, and hygiene products. She has shown true compassion and dedication to this program. Her efforts have made our community a better place. Our patients will never know the length Linzy has gone to get this program started, however, they will know they have been taken care of with respect and compassion, in a hospital with a well operating program due to her efforts.
