Kudos to Kyle on many fronts, from compassionate care to excellent medical knowledge and skills.
My mother was in the Sutter Davis ED. I am a veterinarian, so I am familiar with both the animal and human medical world. During my mother’s hospitalization, we had one of the best nurses I have ever met taking care of her. Kyle provided exceptional care for the following reasons:
1. He was ultra-attentive to any changes in her condition and was on top of managing her medical needs immediately, if not sooner.
2. He had incredible communication skills. When he was administering medication or changing the treatment regime, he not only communicated these actions to the family and co-workers but also to my mother, who was in and out of consciousness. He also updated us on the treatment plan and upcoming events.
3. He was very compassionate not only to her as a patient but also to her visiting family members.
4. He was excellent in his communication with the other team members who were assigned to my mother. I felt like the continuity in care was excellent due to his commitment to ensuring high-level verbal communication.
5. Technically, he was very skilled and anticipated patient needs to provide optimal care and reduce chances for secondary complications. Overall, we couldn’t have asked for a better nurse. Kudos to Kyle on many fronts, from compassionate care to excellent medical knowledge and skills.
