Shana consistently demonstrates compassion, expertise, and unwavering dedication to her patients, colleagues, and the organization. Shana excels in patient education, providing detailed instructions that empower her patients to confidently manage their wound care at home. She often stays after hours to ensure all necessary paperwork is completed, securing the supplies and supervision her patients require. Her ability to calm frustrated patients with a firm yet compassionate demeanor is remarkable. Shana’s outstanding knowledge of wound care and her display of management skills allow her to address patients’ needs effectively while fostering a positive and supportive environment. Shana embodies the qualities of a true patient advocate. She utilizes critical thinking, problem-solving, and attention to detail to deliver high-quality care. Her resilience, reliability, and trustworthiness are admirable, and she consistently goes above and beyond in her role.

As a colleague, I have been personally inspired by Shana’s interactions with patients and her mastery of wound care nursing.
