I came into the ER scared and sick, was there all day doing different tests and awaiting the next thing. Chris was very welcoming, calm, warm, patient, and understanding every step of the way. Putting a positive twist on every part of the process in a way that brightened it while never giving false hope was genius, really! He always got me just what I needed and asked if there was anything else he could do to make my stay more comfortable. He was always in a rush like nurses generally are but he has such a way about it as to not make me feel like I was actually I was actually being “cared for”. Even to the last moment, wheeling me to my hospital room and telling me my next nurse was “eagerly waiting to meet me,” which was so nice it lightened the mood of having to stay in the hospital. Then just after getting moved to my bed, said his final goodbye shaking my hand with both of his, saying it was great meeting me. It truly was amazing!
