Our nurse made me believe in nurses again! When I showed up to the unit, Aliyah went above and beyond caring for my grandpa and not only him but my entire family. Seeing a loved one sick is never easy, but her willingness to explain every little thing in detail to us more than eased our minds. She even made us feel so confident in their care and love for people that my grandmother was able to go home for the first time in 10 straight days of being in the hospital. That right there is a priceless feeling that I cannot put into words, and I’m forever grateful she was our first nurse in this unit.

I was probably having the worst day of my life when I showed up, and she immediately introduced herself to me. She even knew I was the granddaughter who was spending the night. She went above and beyond any expectation I’ve ever wanted from a nurse caring for my loved one. What she provides for the unit, the hospital, the family, and the patient is one in a million, and she has single-handedly changed my mind about my views on the medical field. Not everyone is in it for the money, and she is the perfect example of a nurse who is purely and solely doing her job because she loves helping others and seeing them thrive! The only word I can give you now is Wow!
