I was scheduled for an upper and lower GI screening. I was really concerned and scared about what might be found because of my medical history. Ellie helped to reduce my anxiety and concerns, not by anything special she did for me, but just by how she interacted with me. She has a wonderfully warm personality that puts a patient at ease. She has a very kind, helpful, caring nature and demonstrates that she truly cares about her patients even though she doesn’t know them personally. She made me feel like I mattered. Though I had the pleasure of being with her for only a short time that day, she left a very positive, lasting impression. Ellie is one of the best, if not the best nurse I have encountered during my many years of needing medical care. MCHS should be very proud of Ellie and her efforts in representing your medical community.
