Kandice Olthof was fast on her feet and thinking. My first induction was scary for me, hearing the good and bad. She went to check my cervix, and my water burst. She got a towel, pushed the emergency button, and was at the bedside helping me. I was scared and crying, and the team rushed in to find out I was having a prolapse and the umbilical cord was wrapped around the baby. Kandice and the team were taking me to surgery to save me and the baby. It went fast, and the doctors were spectacular. It was as if Kandice was where she needed to be at the perfect time. This situation was urgent; she moved fast, and I had a great outcome. I owe a lifetime of thank you to all involved, especially Kandice.
