What stands out most about Mrs. Tullos is her unwavering advocacy for her students during our clinical experience. She made sure I had the opportunity to see and learn as much as possible, always encouraging me to grow.
I am honored to nominate Mrs. Tullos for her exceptional impact on my nursing education and my future career. From the very start, her lectures were filled with not only a wealth of knowledge and expertise but also infectious enthusiasm and confidence that made learning engaging and inspiring. She has taught me so much. What stands out most about Mrs. Tullos is her unwavering advocacy for her students during our clinical experience. She made sure I had the opportunity to see and learn as much as possible, always encouraging me to grow. Her guidance and support were instrumental in making my clinical rotation enriching and memorable. Beyond the classroom and clinical settings, Mrs. Tullos has gone above and beyond to help me connect with a midwife in the field--knowing that this is my end goal and area of interest. Her effort to support and advocate for me in my aspirations speaks to the kind of mentor she is: deeply invested in the success and future of her students. I am deeply grateful for her impact on me and my classmates.

Mrs. Tullos is beyond deserving of this award. She shows such enthusiasm for teaching and is always going above and beyond for her students. She shows an abundance of clinical expertise in a clinical setting as well as a classroom. She is very thoughtful to her students by making cupcakes, finding activities she thinks we would enjoy (candy salad), and making the classroom into a motivational setting. She is an excellent teacher and an excellent nurse.

Ms. Tullos comes to class every day and goes above and beyond for each of us. You can tell she wants to be there, and she truly makes each class time special and as entertaining as she can!! Ms. Tullos is also the best at answering any questions we students have outside of class. She will answer at literally all hours, even when we don't expect an immediate response! Her teaching is outstanding, and I never leave class confused after a lecture with her!!

Mrs. Tullos exemplifies her commitment and enthusiasm every single day that she is with her students. She shows up to class fully engaged and radiates positivity. As students, we often feel burnt out, but teachers like Mrs. Tullos are the reason we push ourselves to keep going! One specific situation where she baked our entire class a variety of muffins for lecture shows just how much she cares for us as students and is truly present in our academic journey. Her presence alone creates an encouraging atmosphere. Mrs. Tullos' confidence and compassion have truly inspired me as a future nurse and deserve all the recognition in the world!!!!

This nurse educator always takes time during her clinical days to check on ALL of the patients and make sure they are taken care of and their needs are met. You will never meet someone more compassionate than Mrs. Tullos! Watching her move between patients with ease and confidence makes me wants to be just like her when I am a nurse. She is the most caring nurse AND teacher and has really inspired me to be a compassionate nurse in the future.

Stephanie Tullos inspires me as a future nurse. She has made learning in class interactive, efficient, and, most of all, fun. She goes above and beyond to provide fun activities and treats for the entire class. She has truly made me feel like everyone in our class has bright futures as nurses. Having her in clinical and in class has increased my confidence and knowledge of the nursing profession.

I was crying in the library stressed for a test and reached out to her and she immediately called me from her separate job to help explain the concept. She wouldn't hang up until I felt confident in the subject. Even after I have graduated, she has continued to reach out and check on me. I love her! Truly the best.

Mrs. Tullos is an incredibly gifted instructor! There was one particular class I struggled with in the beginning, but she patiently answered each question I had and helped me to understand the content. She also taught in a way that made sense to my brain and made class fun as well! She really exhibits excellence in her teaching and the way she builds relationships with her students! I wouldn't have graduated without her nurturing education:) much love for her!

As a new graduate and new RN, I can say that Mrs. Tullos has made a big impact on who I am as a nurse and how I push myself every day to be a better one! She is very passionate about teaching and is always using creative and fun ways for her students to learn. For example, instead of having 8 hours of lecture in 1 day, Mrs. Tullos would utilize interactive games in class which kept it interesting and helped me learn so much more. Mrs. Tullos respects her students and always takes the time to listen and encourage them. Whenever I was having a stressful week at school I could always count on her to lift my spirits. She would sit down and listen to me and help me push forward. She always has a good answer for anything I've ever needed. Even now that I have graduated, I know I can still call her with any advice I need about work or life in general. Her love and passion for teaching has made me so excited to be able to precept future nurses who come through my unit one day.

Mrs. Tullos is one of the single reasons that I continued going through nursing school. She showed me so much kindness and respect when I was struggling the most. She is the kind of person and nurse that I strive to be. She's the most deserving person!

Mrs. Tullos is the most amazing traditional BSN teacher. She consistently strives to ensure her students are receiving the best education possible to become successful registered nurses. She is someone who all students see as a safe space to talk with or even ask for advice if needed. She always goes the extra mile to make a positive difference in everyone's day she comes in contact with.

Mrs. Tullos is truly one of the best teachers and the one that got me through nursing school. She's there for her students not only as a teacher but as a shoulder to cry on.
